Fars News Agency:

A senior Iranian commander said Iran has taken the necessary measures for potential confrontation against trans-regional forces and is presently looking for the weak points of the enemies.

“The enemy stationed in our region today is being fully monitored (by Iran) and their strong and weak points have been identified,” Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) General Mohammad Reza Karshki stated.

“We have adopted proper measures for confrontation against their possible threats,” Karshki said, adding, “We have prepared tools and equipment to confront this enemy.”

He further pointed to the remarkable achievements gained by the Iranian Air Force, and announced that the country has started plans to optimize F14 fighter jets and is now mounting some state-of-the-art systems and equipment on the aircraft, which have all been designed and developed inside Iran.

The commander also said that Iran has made eye-catching progress in designing, manufacturing and supplying electronic warfare equipment for its aircraft.

Iran has recently made remarkable progresses in manufacturing different types of military tools, weapons, systems and equipment, specially electronic and telecommunication devices.

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmadi Vahidi inaugurated 28 important electronic and telecommunication projects in a ceremony in August, during which he praised production of modern communication devices and equipment by the country’s experts.
