Today a post from the Dry Bones blog. The comparison between Obama and Carter is captious and discouraging at the same time.

by Yaakov Kirschen

I’ve received many requests for a reposting of this “Bibi” cartoon. I first drew it in 1977 about Menahem Begin, and then redid in 2009 for Bibi Netanyahu.

You can see the “Begin” cartoon also in this post.

President Obama seems stuck with the dopey old idea that withdrawing from territory will placate those who lust for our destruction and that America can help by negotiating on behalf of the Islamic states that refuse to accept the idea of a Jewish State within their sea of Moslem dictatorships and theocracies.

As promised, here is the famous “Begin” cartoon that, close to 30 years ago, back in 1977, gave Jimmy Carter an accurate history lesson in Occupied Territories.

The teacher in the ‘toon was Menahem Begin, then Israel’s feisty Prime Minister.

Quotes and Sayings

About the Region, Islam and cultural totalitarianism...

Isn’t it interesting that prior to the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, there was no serious movement for a Palestinian homeland?…In the Six-Day War, Israel captured Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. But they didn’t capture these territories from Yasser Arafat. They captured them from Jordan’s King Hussein. I can’t help but wonder why all these Palestinians suddenly discovered their national identity after Israel won the war.
